Collection: The Yough Bow

An exclusive, collaborative lure collection designed with Youghiogheny River fishing guide, Rob Walters, to perfectly imitate a fingerling rainbow trout and fool some of the biggest trout & bass on the Yough and Pennsylvania waters.

In the past couple of weeks I met up with Rob Walters, Lead Guide and Co-Owner of Laurel Highlands Guide Services, at the Youghiogheny River in Southwestern Pennsylvania. As we discussed different lure patterns that could “Change-the-Game” for anglers in the Spring, I asked Rob, “What is the most common bait fish in the river?” He replied, “Fingerling Rainbow Trout.”

The following week, we teamed up to design a realistic-looking fingerling rainbow trout fishing lure. Rob assisted with color and pattern-matching the custom paint design, and will continue to assist in improvements and additions to the future works of lures in this collection.

Our rainbow trout collection is created & designed to target both trout & bass, however, all hungry fish love a good fingerling lunch!

Every lure in this series carries the slender profile, subtle flash, and wounded, searching action of a young bow fighting to stay upright in the seam—exactly what big, resident trout key in on. From cold, clear winter flows to pushed‑up summer water, The Yough Bow is made to be the “guide‑pick” collection of lures you reach for when you want to fish this river like a local.

The “Yough Bow” trout pattern will feature different-sized lures in the upcoming weeks. This is just the beginning of our design that will be enhanced with different features as we move forward.  Grab yours TODAY, our stock is LIMITED!

Tear it up on some winter action or load your tackle boxes for a Springtime feeding frenzy.

In early Spring, thousands of these juvenile fish "look-a-likes" will be released into the famous Pennsylvania trout fishing river! And not just the Yough, hundreds of thousands of fingerlings are stocked in many other waters across Pennsylvania & bordering states each year in the hopes to advance some wild trout offspring and of course, to be caught by trout fishermen year-round.

Book a guided fishing trip on the Youghiogheny River, or its tributaries, with Rob Walters and you won't be disappointed.  Rob and the Laurel Highlands Guide Services have quite the experience and a portfolio to back it up!  Check out @laurelhighlandsguideservices on Instagram or Visit their Website:  www.laurelhighlandsguideservices.com
